Inviting students/research scholars for taking up research work in "Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara De-addiction and Research Centre"

Under the auspices of Poojya Shree Dr. D Veerendra Heggadeji the Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (S.K.D.R.D.P) was started in 1982 for the upliftment of rural people. Finding the alcoholic addiction as a major bane of working class, S.K.D.R.D.P started a forum called Janajagruthi Vedike in the year 1992 to wean away society from alcohol addiction.

From past 25 year the forum is engaged in organizing the most popular Community De-addiction Camps, awareness programs, home visits, canvas, jathas, Swasthya Sankalpa etc. The forum has organized more than1450 De-addiction camps and more than 1,01,807 alcoholics were treated. Regular follow ups are being done through more than 5000 Nava Jeevan Samithies. The forum organizes awareness campaigns for the students regarding the abuse of alcohol and drugs which covers 1 lakh students every year.
